March 14 Daily Recap: Rocket League
Posted on March 15, 2023
We had some great Rocket League matches on Tuesday, March 14! Let’s begin with division one.
Division One

We started off on Tuesday, March 14 at 3:30 pm with Carmichaels vs. Windber. This was a very close game, as it ended with a 3-2 score, Carmichaels in the lead. Windber certainly put up a great fight, but Carmichaels was able to add another win to its seasonal record. Great job, Carmichaels!
The next match between Uniontown and Shade was rescheduled for a different date.

Next up was Gateway vs. California at 5:00 pm. Gateway tried their best, but California was able to take them out with a clean sweep, resulting in a 3-0 victory. Amazing performance, California!

On to the next match! The third match of the day was at 5:45 pm between Penn Trafford and Richland. Similar to California, Penn Trafford was hungry for the win. Not just any win. But a clean, strong win. And they did just that. After three very decisive matches, we saw Penn Trafford beat Richland with a 3-0 score. Great work, Penn Trafford!

The fourth and final division one Rocket League match on Tuesday, March 14, was held at 6:30 pm between Greater Altoona CTC and Windber. Just like the previous two games, Greater Altoona CTC was in no mood for losing. Not a single match. And with that, Greater Altoona CTC swooped Windber right off their feet, proudly claiming the victory with a 3-0 score. Greater Altoona CTC really showed no mercy! Fantastic work, GACTC Goats!!

Division Two
Time for the recap on our division two Rocket League matches! You can rewatch these matches on our Twitch at TECHighSchoolGroup. The first match between Westmont Hilltop and Penn Trafford was rescheduled.

At 4:15 pm, we saw Bishop Guilfoyle face off against Gateway in an exciting game. Gateway was eager for the win, though, and ended up sweeping Bishop Guilfoyle with a staggering 3-0 score. Great job, Gateway Gators!

Following right after the first match, we watched Uniontown and Westmont fight for the victory at 5:45 pm in a much closer match. Both teams had some crazy moves and tricks up their sleeves. Ultimately, Uniontown beat Westmont with a 3-1 score. Stellar work, Uniontown!

Our third and final match of the night was at 6:30 pm between Greater Altoona CTC and Forest Hills. Greater Altoona CTC is really no joke this season, as they really seem to be dominating the league. Once again defending its scoreboard ranking, Greater Altoona CTC put on their best show against Forest Hills, beating them 3-0. Forest Hills certainly had an A for effort, though, and we look forward to seeing all of our teams coming back next week with new and improved game. Dynamic work, GACTC Goats!!
